Frequently Asked Questions: COVID-19

What steps are you taking to safeguard Cafe/Store customers?

Our staff are committed to following guidelines set by the PA Department of Health and the CDC to best prevent the spread of coronavirus. To lessen customer contact, we are offering takeout, curbside pick up, extended delivery hours (free to our local area), and online ordering. We’re limiting the number of customers in the store to 8 at any time and requiring masks in the store, per the PA Department of Health guidelines.

We are following all CDC and PA Department of Health guidelines, which include:

  • Routine and frequent cleaning and disinfecting of all touch-points
  • Having sick employees stay home and seek medical attention
  • Educating staff on preventive measures: hand washing, covering coughs, containing illness at home
  • Providing oversight to ensure guidelines are followed

Our staff members will receive special support should they need to stay home due to illness.

Please reach out to Kate Conaway at katec@jhollandergourmet.com with any concerns or questions. We are available and are working to provide transparent, detailed information as it becomes available.

What is your overall response to COVID-19?

We will be transparent and through in our attention to this epidemic and will continue to communicate all changes to our customers. In addition, we will continue to incorporate the most current CDC and PA Department of Health coronavirus guidelines into our work.

What about my wedding plans at a Jamie Hollander Venue?

If you have an upcoming event scheduled, we have made several changes to the planning process, guest minimum, and deposit schedules and your event planner will communicate those to you directly. Significantly-reduced fees are available for non-Saturday events at our venues.

If you are planning an event, we realize the difficulty in making these decisions and of course will work with you through this uncertain time. Please email Kate Conaway with specific questions.

When events are held, we follow to follow the Guidance published by the CDC and PA Department of Health regarding events.
